The higher the temperature, the cooler the colour.  Warm white bulbs (2700 K - 3000 K) create an inviting feel, ideal for bedrooms and living rooms. Cooler white bulbs (3500 K - 4100 K) are better suited for task-oriented spaces like kitchens and offices.
